Here is my calendar of performances
My friend Jill Maher asked me to write a song about the Oak Leaf Trail to accompany her new book, The History of The Oak Leaf and Milwaukee 76 Trails. The lyrics are included in the book and a recording of ‘Meet Me on the Oak Leaf’ is also available on my new John Stano Live at The South Shore Farmers Market CD. She’ll be doing a reading and I’ll be playing the song. We did a previous presentation together before the release and folks had a good time learning their Milwaukee history. Come on down!
My friendly neighborhood happy hour gig. Free wine tasting from 5-7pm too. My new CD “Digging Out in the Heartland” and “John Stano Live at the South Shore Farmer’s Market” will also be available.
My second time at this cool place ‘up North’ as we say down here in the South. I had a fantastic and serendipitous evening there my first time. Four degrees of separation is real based on my experience that night. The food is fantastic so you’ll want to get there for dinner. You can check out a sample menu on their website. Reservations are suggested as seating is limited. I’ll add more details a little closer to the event.
I’m joined by Veteran Chicago Folk musician Mark Dvorak. More details soon!
